PTFE Corrugated Hose
PTFE Corrugated Hose
Soft mechanical properties: PTFE is relatively soft and features extremely low surface energy.
Chemical resistance: Exceptionally resistant to nearly all chemicals except molten alkali metals, fluorinated media, and sodium hydroxide above 300°C. Withstands strong acids (including fluoroantimonic acid and aqua regia), bases, oxidizers, reducers, and organic solvents.
Self-lubricating: Possesses the lowest coefficient of friction among plastics, making it an ideal dry-lubrication material.
Non-stick surface: Known for being the most non-adhesive solid material—no known substances stick to its surface.
Density: 2.1–2.3 g/cm³
High temperature resistance: Continuous service temperature up to 250°C.
Low temperature resistance: Maintains flexibility and mechanical integrity down to -196°C with 5% elongation.
Weather resistance: Exceptional aging resistance among plastics.
Non-toxic & biocompatible: Physiologically inert; suitable for long-term implantation such as artificial blood vessels and organs with no adverse effects.
Electrical insulation: Resistant to voltages up to 1500V. Excellent dielectric properties unaffected by frequency or environment. Resistivity up to 10¹⁸ Ω·cm with low dielectric loss and high breakdown voltage.
Non-flammable: Oxygen index below 90; difficult to ignite.
Atmospheric aging resistance: Excellent radiation resistance and low permeability. Maintains performance and appearance even under prolonged exposure to air and UV.
